Description

2002 Tim Couch Stadium Bobble Head McDonald's Promotion with Signature on Side of Original Box. Only taken out of box for photographs. Box shows minor wear from age, as seen in photographs

Box reads, "A native of Hyden, Kentucky, Tim Couch was different than other kids. While most dreamed only of playing basketball for their prestigious University of Kentucky Wildcats, Couch was more interested in football.

Athletic success came easily for couch in high school. He was a four-year varsity starter in football and basketball and was honored by the Associated Press as the High School Athlete of the Year as a junior and as a senior. In addition, he set national career records in pass completion, passing yards, and touchdown passes on the football field and set state high school records in basketball.

As a member of University of Kentucky's football team, he shattered Kentucky's career passing records, completing 795 of 1,184 attempts for 8,835 yards and 74 touchdowns, despite only 24 games as a starter. He came in fourth in voting for the Heisman Memorial Trophy, cementing his place as one of the greatest athletes in Kentucky's sports history.

Sleceted first overall in the 1999 draft by the Cleveland Browns, Couch lived up to the hype by leading  all other NFL rookie quarterbacks in passing while also setting numerous Browns all-time rookie records. A naturally gifted passer with a great arm, Tim Couch's early success is only the beginning."

Couch played for the Cleveland Browns from 1999-2003. In 1998, he was the Quarterback of the Year, SEC Player of the Year and in 1999 he made the NFL All-Rookie Team.
