Original Ed Gifford Signed and Framed White Church Painting. 
Back Reads: "Ed Gifford Born in Akron Ohio in 1927 is noted for his strong simple statements of nostalgic Americana scenes, painted or etched in a loose representational style his art reflects the mood and abstract design giving a startling effect of impressionistic realism. He has been involved with fine art since boyhood as his mother Mrs. Eva Dettling Gifford was a well known area artist and passed on many of her attributes to her son. He is self taught in aqueous media and etching. Ed devotes his full time to painting and etching and has won over 100 awards within the past 10 years. A partial list is below:

American Watercolor Soc. N.Y., N.Y., Winterpark Art Festival Fla., Coconut Grove Art Festival Fla., Atlantic City Art Show N.J., Cape May Art Festival N.J., Wisconsin Festival of Art Wis., Boston Mills Art Festival Ohio, Canton Art Institute Ohio.
Ed and his wife Odette are well known exhibitors at art fairs from New York to Chicago and Maine to Florida. Ed is a member of the American Artists Professional League N.Y., N.Y. Ed, Odette and their two schnauzers live at 2841 Yellow Creek Rd. in Bath, Ohio where they all together have a gallery and studio which is open by appointment to people familiar with his art work." 
Ed died May 19, 1998.
