Named Killed in Action (KIA) Purple Heart with Ribbon Bar, Lapel Pin, additional Purple Heart Ribbon Swatch, Titled Leatherette Case Framed Franklin Roosevelt Letter, Army Service Forces Letter to father of Lieutenant Virgil Chima and Lieutenant Virgil Chima's Military Card shown in photographs.

The purpose of this organization is to preserve the histories of individual veterans by providing them a forum to describe their military experience. Veterans' presentations are open to the public and are recorded and preserved at the University of Akron's Archives Department. It is very important to be aware that the owner's family desires this particular item to be placed into a personal collection or museum and refuse this item to be used for anyone who simply wants to resell the item.  For all of these reasons, even if a bidder wins this item, the owner of Yellow Brick Road Auctions reserves the right to refuse completion of the sale at Pick-Up.
