This Lot include Three Framed Aldo Luongo Charcoal Lithograph Prints with Print Signatures, to include 1970 Print from the Lovers Series in a Silver Colored Frame, One Print depicting two children in a horse carriage in a Black and Gold Colored Frame and One Print depicting a father and child from behind walking in Gold Colored Frame.  The Lovers print needs reframed, and the father and son walking has come loose from the adhesive on black background, as can be seen in photographs. The Carriage print has sold on past auctions from $50-$90.

Aldo Luongo was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in 1941. He grew up with two great passions to include soccer and art. He graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Buenos Aires before coming to the US to play professional soccer. He played for the New York Generals. After an injury, he moved to New York to pursue his artistic career. His awards include being named a 3-time official Olympic Artist in 1988, 1996 and 2002. He is also an official World Cup Artist, an official U.S. Women’s World Cup Artist and the 1999 Sports Artist of the Year. He also has twice been chosen to paint eggs for the White House Easter Egg Hunt which now reside in the Smithsonian Institute.
