Description

Antique Agfa/Ansco B-2 Cadet Box Camera.  Does have residue from storage as can be seen in photographs that may be removed with gentle cleanser. Not tested.

Paul Mendelssohn-Bartholdy and Carl Alexander von Mathius found a color dye factory in Germany, which becomes Aktien Geschellschaft fur Anilinfabrikation, known as Agfa in 1873. The first Agfa box cameras were introduced in 1930. The B-2 Cadet was just a slight refinement of the first Agfa box cameras, and appears to have been made only in 1937 and 1938. B-2 was Agfa’s designation for 120 roll film.
