Description

This Lot consists of Two, 1950's Ceramic Pixieware Style "Jam 'n Jelly" and "Ketchup" Jars with Spoons. There is wear consistent with age and use as can be seen in photographs. There are some cracks in the spoons that the previous owner repaired.

Holt-Howard was best known for their Pixieware. Pixieware is recognizable for the heads which adorn the condiment jars.  Other manufacturers soon started copying Holt-Howard pixieware due to its popularity. Betson was one of those companies who was a fierce competitor. We cannot confirm which company produced these jars.
